The Programs
“HEAL EQ 69 – CONSOLE EQ AND CHANNEL STRIP” FOR NEBULA PRO consists of 18 Programs:
You will find these under
“H69”. Go to the Sub-Categories to choose the EQ or PREAMP you would like to load.
Programs are sampled at 96kHz and are tested to retain accuracy at 44.1kHz and 48kHz
sample rates with the latest version of Nebula Pro. They are designed to be used with the ‘Reverb’ instance of Nebula Pro.
HEAL69-LINPRE-EQ
This is the Line Preamp of the Heal EQ channel with the EQ circuit engaged, with 11 Kernels of harmonic distortion.
HEAL69-LINPREEQC
This is the same as above without any harmonic distortion.
This is the same as “HEAL69-LINPRE-EQ” with the EQ circuit Bypassed.
This is the same as above without any harmonic distortion.
This is the Mic Preamp of the Heal EQ channel with the EQ circuit engaged, with 11 Kernels of harmonic distortion.
This is the same as above without any harmonic distortion.
This is the Mic Preamp of the Heal EQ channel with the EQ circuit Bypassed, with 11 Kernels of harmonic distortion.
This is the same as above without any harmonic distortion.
This is the Low Cut Filter, which has three positions: Flat, -80Hz Cut, and -40Hz Cut. This program also has harmonic distortion.
This is the same as above without any harmonic distortion.
This is the Low Cut Shelf EQ. This program allows you to cut the Low Shelf in 3dB increments. This program also has harmonic distortion.
This is the same as above without any harmonic distortion.
This is the Low Boost Band EQ. This program allows you to boost the Heal EQ’s Low Bell Frequencies in 30 gain positions.
Available Frequencies are 30Hz, 80Hz, 120Hz, 240Hz, and 400Hz. The Heal EQ Low Boost EQ features a unique
Frequency shape that is a Variable “Q” built into fixed Frequency settings.
At lower gain amounts, the Bell shape is extremely wide, and it narrows gradually as more gain is used.
This program also has harmonic distortion.
This is the same as above without any harmonic distortion.
This is the Mid Band EQ. This program allows you to boost and cut the Heal EQ’s Mid Bell Frequencies in +/-15 position gain settings.
Available Frequencies are:
700Hz, 1kHz, 1.4kHz, 2kHz, 2.8kHz, 3.5kHz, 4.5kHz, 6kHz, 16kHz.
The Heal EQ Boost Freqeuencies are a wide Bell, except for the 16kHz band which
has been added to this special version of the Type 69, which is more narrow in Boost. The Cut EQ features a unique
Frequency shape that is a Variable “Q” built into fixed Frequency settings.
At lower gain amounts, the Bell shape is extremely wide, and it narrows gradually as more gain is used.
This program also has harmonic distortion.
This is the same as above without any harmonic distortion.
This is the Heal EQ’s High Shelf EQ, with a gradual slope based around 10kHz.
This program allows you to boost and cut 10dB in 2dB fixed steps.
This is the same as above without any harmonic distortion.

About The Hardware
About the “HEAL EQ 69 – CONSOLE EQ AND CHANNEL STRIP” FOR NEBULA PRO
The “HEAL EQ 69 – CONSOLE EQ AND CHANNEL STRIP” FOR NEBULA PRO provides you with one of the finest, most remarkable sounding
classic recording console channels in the history of music recording.
This collection provides the Nebula Pro user with a perfectly ideal “Heal EQ” channel, with Microphone Preamp, Line input Preamp, and Equalizer.
The “Heal EQ 69” has been designed around the original 1969 installation at Olympic Studios. Following the identical original console,
this uses a Sowter input transformer that perfectly replicates the earlier Lustraphone. It emulates the sound of the Olympic desk
output electronics, and is identical in the EQ section, with the addition of a few extra features that were requested from the original
Helios users. It is the best of all worlds, and sounds absolutely amazing.
The Helios was vital to the classic rock sound for everyone from The Who to Led Zeppelin. The Olympic Studios desk
is considered the ultimate Helios Type 69, and is the basis for the entire electronics chain for this original Helios
channel you can now use for all of your projects in Nebula Pro!
I truly hope that this collection adds to your enjoyment of Nebula.
Thanks and God Bless You.
Sincerely,
Michael Angel
