    To describe the purpose and use of this excellent, clean eq, let me share the words of Mr. Scholz himself:

    "[...]a couple of years ago we designed a graphic equalizer. Now, how crazy is that? There are dozens of them on the market, but there was not a single one that could be used with a guitar level signal, was footswitcheable, had a decent signal-to-noise ratio, and could give better than an octave resolution. We tried to modify existing units, but finally gave up and designed the stupid thing so we would have what we needed." (Tom Scholz in Guitar World, Feb. 90) Scholz is responsible for those unmistakable guitar tones from some of the best rock tracks of the 1980's, which remain among the most memorable and treasured classics to this day. This release provides you with the eq that he designed to achieve these tones which he personally tracked to tape. You can use these tones directly from your guitar into your choice of amps, combo's, and vst guitar rigs, and you can also use it post-distortion, in a loop. Get the most tone shaping from using it before and after distortion. You can choose individual bands, paired groups, and all 12 of them on a single controller for maximum flexibility and resource use in your DAW. Place these in parallel with duplicate tracks to recreate the exact behavior of the eq, or use in any manner that fits your own tone-shaping process.
