    The Programs

The Tube Trek PE1C Program Equalizer For Nebula Pro consists of 28 programs: You will find these under "TTQ" .

Programs are sampled at 96kHz and are tested to retain accuracy at 44.1kHz and 48kHz sample rates with the latest version of Nebula3 Pro. There are two sub-categories which divide this collection: "EQ" "PRE"

    Program Description:

    T-T-PE1C-HI-B-B

This program is the Tube Trek PE1C High Boost with 3 Kernels of harmonic distortion. This boosts all high frequencies with the "Q" width set fully to the "broad" position. This is the widest "Q" of the PE1C high frequency boost and has a max bell peak of approximately +10dB. Frequencies included are:
    1kHz, 1.5kHz, 2kHz, 3kHz, 4kHz, 5kHz, 8kHz, 10kHz, 12kHz, and 16kHz.

    T-T-HI-B-B CLN

This program is the same as above with no harmonic content, or "clean" mode.

    T-T-PE1C-HI-B-M2

This program is the Tube Trek PE1C High Boost with 3 Kernels of harmonic distortion. This boosts all high frequencies with the "Q" width set to a medium-wide position. This is the next-widest "Q" of the PE1C high frequency boost. Frequencies included are:
    1kHz, 1.5kHz, 2kHz, 3kHz, 4kHz, 5kHz, 8kHz, 10kHz, 12kHz, and 16kHz.

    T-T-PE1C-HI-B-S2

This program is the Tube Trek PE1C High Boost with 3 Kernels of harmonic distortion. This boosts all high frequencies with the "Q" width set between the center position and the sharp position. This "Q" is slightly sharper than the medium setting. Frequencies included are:
    1kHz, 1.5kHz, 2kHz, 3kHz, 4kHz, 5kHz, 8kHz, 10kHz, 12kHz, and 16kHz.

    T-T-HI-B-S2 CLN

This program is the same as above with no harmonic content, or "clean" mode.

    T-T-PE1C-HI-B-S1

This program is the Tube Trek PE1C High Boost with 3 Kernels of harmonic distortion. This boosts all high frequencies with the "Q" width set to the sharpest position. Frequencies included are:
    1kHz, 1.5kHz, 2kHz, 3kHz, 4kHz, 5kHz, 8kHz, 10kHz, 12kHz, and 16kHz.

    T-T-HI-B-S1 CLN

This program is the same as above with no harmonic content, or "clean" mode.

    T-T-PE1C-HI-CUT

This program is the Tube Trek PE1C High Cut with 3 Kernels of harmonic distortion. This cuts high frequencies with shelf-shaped eq. Frequencies included are:
    5kHz, 10kHz and 20kHz.

    T-T-HI-CUT CLN

This program is the same as above with no harmonic content, or "clean" mode.

    T-T-PE1C-HI-BC-B

This program is the Tube Trek PE1C High Cut with 3 Kernels of harmonic distortion. One of the unique qualities of a Pultec-style program equalizer is the unique shape of boost and cut eq. Some will employ a special technique to boost and cut the same frequency to create a unique filter shape. We are including this technique with the three high frequencies that contain both a boost and cut. This program uses the widest "broad" "Q" of high frequency boost with simultaneous shelf cut of the same frequency. The result is a shelf cut eq with a unique curve resulting from simultaneous bell-shaped boost. Frequencies included are:
    5kHz, 10kHz and 20kHz.

    T-T-HI-BC-B CLN

This program is the same as above with no harmonic content, or "clean" mode.

    T-T-PE1C-HI-BC-M

This is the same as the previous "Boost-Cut" program with a "Q" set to the Mid position for a medium "Q" width boost. Frequencies included are:
    5kHz, 10kHz and 20kHz.

    T-T-HI-BC-M CLN

This program is the same as above with no harmonic content, or "clean" mode.

    T-T-PE1C-HI-BC-S

This is the same as the previous "Boost-Cut" program with a "Q" set to the sharpest position. Frequencies included are:
    5kHz, 10kHz and 20kHz.

    T-T-HI-BC-S CLN

This program is the same as above with no harmonic content, or "clean" mode.

    T-T-PE1C-LOBOOST

This is the Low Boost section of the PE1C, providing Shelf Boost EQ in finely tuned gain stages. Frequencies included are:
    20Hz, 30Hz, 60Hz, and 100Hz.

    T-T-LOBOOST CLN

This program is the same as above with no harmonic content, or "clean" mode.

    T-T-PE1C-LO-CUT

This is the Low Cut section of the PE1C, providing Shelf Cut EQ in finely tuned gain stages. Frequencies included are:
    20Hz, 30Hz, 60Hz, and 100Hz.

    T-T-LO-CUT CLN

This program is the same as above with no harmonic content, or "clean" mode.

    T-T-PE1C-LO-BC

This is the same "Boost-Cut" process employed with high frequencies. With the Low Boost-Cut, we have simultaneous boost and cut of shelf-shaped low frequencies, creating a unique filter shape. Frequencies included are:
    20Hz, 30Hz, 60Hz, and 100Hz.

    T-T-LO-BC CLN

This program is the same as above with no harmonic content, or "clean" mode.

    T-T-PE1C-PRE-IN

This program allows you to run sound through the Tube Trek purely for the benefit of enhancing audio without making any filter changes. The wonderful sound of analog transformers and tubes enhances audio in a pleasing manner that has subtle changes in dynamics, frequency spectrum, and harmonic content. Use this program to render tracks with 8 Kernels of harmonic content and multiple decibels of dynamics with the eq circuit engaged and set to a flat position.

    T-T-PRE-IN CLN

This program is the same as above with no harmonic content, or "clean" mode.

    T-T-PE1C-PRE-OUT

This program allows you to run sound through the Tube Trek purely for the benefit of enhancing audio without making any filter changes. This is the same concept as the program above, but with this program the eq is bypassed and simply running sound through the input/output transformers and tube stages without activating the passive filters.

    T-T-PRE-OUT CLN

This program is the same as above with no harmonic content, or "clean" mode.

About "The Tube Trek PE1C Program Equalizer For Nebula Pro"

The Tube Trek PE1C Program Equalizer For Nebula Pro brings this modern classic program equalizer to NebulaPro. It requires the lastest version of NebulaPro and is optimized to run in the "Reverb" version of NebulaPro. It has been sampled at 96kHz and will convert to any rate directly within the NebulaPro engine. When used at 96kHz, it uses the maximum sample size and length, and because it is sampled at this rate, loads very quickly and takes the largest amount of computer resources (unless using a higher rate than 96kHz). If used at 48kHz or 44.1kHz, the programs will take a little longer to load, but once loaded, use a smaller amount of computer resources. In fact, at lower rates the programs use the same resources as they would if sampled directly at the same lower rates. All programs have been tested for these three rates and remain extremely accurate.

    About The Hardware

About "The Tube Trek PE1C Program Equalizer". The analog hardware device that this collection is inspired by is a modern legend in analog hardware design. It is built by Vikings! In the mid-80's, the design was born out of the aim to reproduce an original Pultec EQ at its optimum performance as it would perform when brand new. The result is an elegant, clean design with passive filters, an ECC82 and ECC83 push-pull amplifier, and specs nearly identical to the original Pultec.
