    Installation

    For PC Users:

    Use the included installer to select your NebulaTempRepository Folder to install
    the collection there. Or, you can simply copy all "n2p" files to your
    Nebula "Programs" folder and copy all "n2v" files to your "Vectors" folder.

    For Mac Users:

    Copy all "n2p" files to your Nebula "Programs" folder and copy all "n2v" files to your "Vectors" folder.

    The Programs


    RPQ RIBBON EQ AND PREAMP FOR NEBULA PRO consists of 8 Programs: You will find these under "CDS/RPQ". Go to the Sub-Categories to choose the EQ, PREAMP, or CLEAN Program you would like to load.

    Programs are sampled at 96kHz and are tested to retain accuracy at 44.1kHz and 48kHz sample rates with the latest version of Nebula Pro. They are designed to be used with the 'Reverb' instance of Nebula Pro.

    Program Description:


    CDS-RIBN-Q-HF

    This program provides you with the High Frequency "Curve Shaper" Boost Shelf EQ.
    The RPQ has a wide shelf slope, starting as low as 2.1kHz for the slope start all the way up to 26kHz. There are 20 steps of boost gain with a maximum peak boost of approximately 18.5dB.
    This program contains the RPQ's harmonic distortion in addition to the realism of the frequency details.


    CDS-RIBN-Q-HF_C

    This is the same as above without any harmonic distortion.


    CDS-RIBN-Q-LF

    This program provides you with the Low Frequency smooth-sloped high pass, or low cut EQ.
    The RPQ Low Frequency EQ provides a slope EQ range all the way from 18Hz to 360Hz.
    This program contains the RPQ's harmonic distortion in addition to the realism of the frequency details.


    CDS-RIBN-Q-LF-C

    This is the same as above without any harmonic distortion.


    CDS-RPQ-PRE-EQ

    This program provides you with the RPQ's electronics with 8 Kernels of Harmonic Distortion.
    This program has the EQ circuit engages and set flat.


    CDS-RPQ-PRE-EQ-C

    This is the same as above without any harmonic distortion.


    CDS-RPQ-PRE-NEQ

    This program provides you with the RPQ's electronics with 8 Kernels of Harmonic Distortion.
    This program has the EQ circuit bypassed.


    CDS-RPQ-PRE-NEQC

    This is the same as above without any harmonic distortion.

    About The Hardware

    About the RPQ RIBBON EQ AND PREAMP FOR NEBULA PRO

    The RPQ RIBBON EQ AND PREAMP FOR NEBULA PRO hardware device is based around a clean, high quality, JFET circuit design with a 10K ohm input impedence, making it ideal for handling ribbon microphones without changing the color and personality that comes from the mic.

    The high eq is a boost designed to lift the wide range of highs where needed and also exceed the upper range beyond what is audible, handling the effects that interact with ribbon microphones. The low frequency is a flexible cut slope from 18Hz up to 360Hz. The device is ideal for handling any input or microphone because it resolves some of the toughest sound shaping needs with ease and elegance.
