    Installation

    For PC Users:

    Use the included installer to select your NebulaTempRepository Folder to install
    the collection there. Or, you can simply copy all "n2p" files to your
    Nebula "Programs" folder and copy all "n2v" files to your "Vectors" folder.

    For Mac Users:

    Copy all "n2p" files to your Nebula "Programs" folder and copy all "n2v" files to your "Vectors" folder.

    The Programs


    “ARTISAN SERIES TRI-FILTER 1” FOR NEBULA PRO consists of 4 Programs: You will find these under “CDS>ART>TF1”.

    Programs are sampled at 96kHz and are tested to retain accuracy at 44.1kHz and 48kHz sample rates with the latest version of Nebula Pro. They are designed to be used with the ‘Reverb’ instance of Nebula Pro.

    Program Description:


    ARTISAN-FLTRHIFI

    This is the TF-1 in Hi Fi mode. It is a wide Mid Range multiple bell shape tool ranging from 250Hz to 5kHz. The Frequency control covers every frequency between 250Hz and 5kHz, with a gain control from 1-10. At 1, the frequencies are at their smoothest. The peaks and notch are still steep, but the shape is a lower resonance than at the maximum setting of 10. The signal chain is sent to a high end reel to reel tape machine running at 15 IPS. There are 10 Kernels of Harmonic Distortion custom-edited and placed to enhance the signal, and also coming from the reel to reel tape machine running at 15 IPS. This shapes the spectrum and also adds harmonic distortion.


    ARTISAN-FLTRHIFIC

    This is the same as above without any harmonic distortion.


    ARTISAN-FLTRLOFI

    This program’s filtering process is identical to the Hi Fi program. In this Lo Fi program, the signal chain is sent to a 1950’s vacuum tube tape machine, giving an incredibly rich and musical tone to the signal.

    This is the same as above without any harmonic distortion.

    About The Artisan Series

    About the Artisan Series

    I have been a recording engineer for over two decades, with 17 years focusing largely on professional audio mastering.

    My work has included soundtrack music composition, dozens of album mixes, sample and loop collections, VSTi virutal instrument design, and more.

    Having developed many techniques in recording and mixing, I have designed many unique filtering and sculpting processes of my own. I have used these concepts in my own work and have had the idea of creating a unique series that focuses on many of these seceret weapon processes I have developed. The Artisan Series will provide you with unique mixing, mastering, and general audio techniques that would otherwise be incredibly complex to replicate. Each will focus on a specific unique special effect, mixing process, unique resolution to sound design, or signal chain that will help you to simplify tasks and coordinate your tools in creative ways that can unlock your creative potential.
